@mispercs It is useless especially above 360hz where the human factor also comes into play. The absolute best raw aimers can't even utilize the full potential of a 1000hz monitor (the highest currently) but cs2 players act like it would make a difference to their gameplay 😂

@mispercs What you're describing is also tied to response time which 240/360hz OLEDs would give you instant response time thus my point high refresh rate glazing as a tactical shooter player is pointless

one frame can literally decide a duel because movement is effectively quantized by frame delivery and refresh timing during peeks. a guy swinging into your screen over 3 frames at 240hz vs 500 is a huge difference in information and motion clarity, especially with low ttk. “movement is capped at 240hz” just isn’t accurate, fast peek visibility is exactly where higher refresh matters

You already said its not a tracking heavy game where higher refresh rate scales, tactical shooters are all about click timing which most of the time is pre-determined movement so extreme high refresh rates has no benefits. It makes no sense seeing cs2 players drool about 1000hz refresh rate monitors when the game's movement is already capped out at 240hz~

@PhantomLexOF That's really not true at all- it's not a constant tracking game but enemies move very quickly from behind walls with one of the lowest ttk of all games.
