Panel Discussion on 'The next decade of injectables: Science, scale and new therapies' | #InjectableInnovationsConclave 2026 | 10th April 2026 | Hyderabad | Presented by Adam Fabriwerk and Powered by OPTIMA packaging group Moderated by Ms Viveka Roychowdhury, Editor, #ExpressPharma Panellists: + Mr Ankur Shah, Founder & Chairman, Invengene Private Limited + Mr Atul Shastri, President - Global Operations, Eugia Pharma Specialities Ltd  + Mr RAJA BHANU, DG, Pharmexcil (Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India) [1] Early collaboration and globally scalable product design are becoming critical to de-risk investments and secure long-term partnerships. [2] Success in injectables will depend on the ability to take products from the bench to the floor. We need to integrate manufacturing complexity and supply chain considerations from the very start. [3] India builds world-class plants but not equivalent R&D ecosystems. The gap between lab and large-scale production is where compliance and sterility challenges emerge. [4] AI, ML, and IoT can reduce human error, ensure sterility (a binary outcome), and significantly compress timelines — positioning India to lead in next-gen injectable innovation. [5] While India advances in affordability, scale, and AI-driven innovation, human expertise remains central, and self-reliance must be built to withstand geopolitical risks. [6] Amid rising geopolitical tensions, building self-reliance through strong domestic networks is critical to prevent supply disruptions, and while this transition will take time, the groundwork must begin immediately. India is strengthening ease of doing business for exporters through targeted reforms and digital interventions. Enhanced Importer Exporter Code (IEC) validation using National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI)-linked systems, streamlined duty exemption processes and a nationwide drive to clear pending Export Obligation Discharge Certificates (EODCs) are improving compliance efficiency and liquidity. Under the Export Promotion Mission (EPM), initiatives such as NIRYAT PROTSAHAN and NIRYAT DISHA are expanding access to finance, markets and logistics support, with a strong focus on empowering MSMEs and facilitating seamless trade. #DoC_GoI #EaseOfDoingBusiness #TradeFacilitation #MSME #IndiaExports #ExportPromotion @RajeshAgrawal94 @PIB_India
