Muscle memory is one hell of a beast. When anyone asks ‘what advice would you give to a younger / 18yo / whatever’ go to the gym in your late teens and build muscle regardless of your occupation or fitness endeavours. Knowing you can come off insane endurance blocks and build muscle back within weeks is so good.

The reason I avoid working with friends or family is because they knew the version of me before the vision. They remember the laughs , the vacation ,the easy conversations and not the late night work at 2am, not the deadlines I don't bend for, not the pressure I apply when I want results. They see the fun version of me but they are not ready for the boss version of me. And when you bring that energy into business they confuse your leadership for attitude, they take your standards personally.
