- Tump boycotts the correspondence dinner every year.
- He’s pitching an unnecessary ballroom no one asked for.

Just to build on this, since the original post was a little succinct: his ratings are at an all time low, his stupid ballroom can't get built, he's got egg on his face from Iran, and the press is more hostile to him than ever.
So of course he's going to go to this dinner and wouldn't you know it, there's a security breach that wouldn't have been an issue if only he had his ballroom for 400 million. And woe is the president, always being targeted for assassination by clownishly bad evil doers. Hope his other ear grows back like the first one.
Ok. None of that is suspicious at all.

I agree 100%, after season 2 ended, I was relieved in that I hoped the show would focus on Din only and his journey. Grogu should've stayed away with Luke.
If they wanted to sell Grogu toys then they should've made a Jedi academy spinoff, instead of undoing The Mandalorian's arc

The Season 2 finale of THE MANDALORIAN felt like the perfect ending for the Grogu character. But, of course, Dave Filoni had to completely negate the emotional impact of that ending in *checks notes* THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT.
