@andrewhoyer I was a bit disappointed that we weren't to stay in standard time, but like you said one permanent time is better than changing the time twice a year

The tide is starting to turn against twice-yearly time changes. I don't think permanent DST is the right choice, but making either one permanent is better than nothing.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms season 1 stuck the landing. A funny, thoughtful, and heartfelt episode. It really helps that Dunk and Egg are perfectly cast and easy to root for. The best news is we don't have to wait 2-3 years for season 2. A show a lot of us didn't know we needed and one of the best of the last half decade.

I had a huge win with Linux on the weekend. My wife's old MacBook Pro failed and she needed to do some general administrative work for this week's homeschool plan. I gave her a MacBook Air with Omarchy on it, and a 2-minute lesson on opening apps and switching between desktops. With only minor issues, she got everything done, on what was–as far as I know–her first time using a Linux desktop.

@andrewhoyer I don’t think so, kids get things wrong all the time. We just need to correct them. Or they can ask AI about it, that way they can stop thinking and let AI handle everything. I changed my mind, we’re screwed 😵‍💫🙃

My kids were discussing AI topics with some other teens, and one person in the group said that calculators are AI. Do we need to be concerned?
