Experienced reps have a huge role to play through a TU network in providing support and expertise but losing a focus on brining new activists into the unions would be a backward step. This is why I think the direction proposed by @YourMmtm is right.

It's by encouraging people to get active in workplaces where there are not yet union reps and building out that we can compliment the work of others not duplicate it.

It's great the idea of TU network set up by the outgoing NCG is supported. However aiming this primarily at people who are already reps is a mistake.

RLB backed teachers and school workers, putting lives before profit. The spike in cases in schools shows she and the NEU were right. Kate Green's track record as Owen Smiths campaign chair doesn't bode well for hoping that we will continue to see this kind of solidarity.
