A lot of the arguments against zcash have a similar ring to those used against Bitcoin a decade ago. "It'll be made illegal", "nowhere to spend it", "you'll be put on a blacklist" Such a paternalistic mindset. If you believe in privacy, fight for privacy.

Everyone is rightly questioning why crypto would ever outperform equities or gold after the recent underperformance. I don't have a great answer, except that price increases do an incredible job of changing the market's fundamental view, especially in crypto.
