Despite it being obvious that the time of two-party politics is over, the govt laid out no plans to introduce a fairer voting system in the King's Speech. That's why Green MPs tabled an amendment on the need to bring in proportional representation and make every voice heard.

Although the Renters’ Rights Act is a move in the right direction, without serious action to address unaffordability of rents it’s not enough. I know people are still going to be forced out of their homes by uncontrolled price hikes. This has to stop. We need rent controls now
