Had a high school reunion last weekend I was talking to my high school crush, Henrietta I don't like to brag but after few drinks it slipped out "I made €41,000 this year" I nonchalantly said "Ok..." she awkwardly looked down Must have been intimidated, women always are when they hear amounts like this "So how much do you make, Henrietta?" I asked "Umm, well, €350,000 or so last year" I chuckled and asked again, slower this time, so she understands "No honey, I meant your actual salary, after tax" "Umm, I run my own startup and I'm a digital nomad so I don't pay any tax really" I felt my face go white and my hands were shaking I excused myself, went to the bathroom Dial 112, press call Twenty five minutes later two officers walked in "That one, officers" I pointed to Henrietta They slammed her against the wall and cuffed her She was crying, looking at me with shock in her eyes Yes, I loved her once But I love my government more, and I protect it at any cost

Just came out of Lidl and saw a woman crying her eyes out. She was explaining to people that she’d lost all of her Xmas spending money and didn’t know how she would be able to afford everything! I felt really sorry for her and gave her £50. I don’t normally do this sort of thing but I had just found £2000 in the car park! It doesn’t hurt to be kind at this time of year!
