Nigel Farage has called Welsh people “Foreign speakers” in a Cameo video. I hate to break it to you Mr Farage, but if you read a history book you would realise English is more foreign in the UK than Welsh. He said: “Gutted I couldn’t attend the wedding. I wanted to come, but I heard that half the guests were Welsh, and I don’t know. Who knows what would have happened with all those foreign speakers there. I don’t know.” This is at a time that his party are trying to convince people in Wales that they should elect them to the Welsh Parliament. Big credit to the Guardian for breaking this story: theguardian.com/uk-news/ng-int…

@blink_blank_bla @Brunte84 Not at all. With Reform, the only question, on any particular policy, is which decade they want to turn the clock back to.

🚨 Hidden away in Plaid Cymru's Manifesto 👇🏼 Just like Sadiq Khan's hated ULEZ, but for Wales. Punishing working families, tradies, and anyone without an electric car they can't afford. Wales deserves better than this nanny-state nonsense. Vote Reform on May 7th ➡️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🗳️

@RUKWales So, 2 years on, you're still pandering to petrolheads, and ignoring the evidence of 630 fewer casualties, annual savings of £40m, and £45 a year off the average insurance premium? Could you be more blinkered and backward looking? willhaywardwales.substack.com/p/turns-out-th…

"I hate Reform and everything they stand for". Welsh grandmother doesn't hold back as she breaks down why she would never vote for Nigel Farage's party. You can see analysis and news from Welsh politics by signing up for my news letter (see pinned tweet). Big props to excellent @edcmpbl who I commissioned to go and carry out these interviews.

Welsh schoolchildren eating imported chicken while our farmers battle red tape. It’s madness. Reform will back Welsh farmers, cut the bureaucracy, and deliver a 10-year food strategy so Welsh food ends up on Welsh plates.

@NeilDotObrien They also blame (and it was first on their list) "challenging market conditions in the last 3 years with reduced consumer confidence" Odd that you didn't mention that.

Another wonderful firm killed off by Reeves. They blame "escalating costs of employment in the UK", along with "soaring industrial energy costs".

@thetimmorgan @BBCSport @SkySports It's about a lot more than just the money, and player purchases. The other stuff that's been going on behind the scenes and in the community is equally important. If you see a gap between the two, might be worth watching the documentary again! Have a good day.

@PhilVRees @BBCSport @SkySports Only my opinion (so accept I might be wrong) but theres the truth: all about money and Wrexham have more and spend more (thats how it works) then theres the doc and press coverage (story): ted Lasso underdog fairytale etc. Its the gap between the story and the truth.

For all the unnecessary and one sided coverage of tonights game by @BBCSport and @SkySports (who have reynolds and the other fella doing their own commentary) theres not one mention, not one, that Wrexham has spent more on players than any team in the history of the Championship.

@PhilVRees @BBCSport @SkySports A good question Phil and I agree every club plays the same game. It IS all about money and Wrexham are certainly not the first. But I dont think anyones problem with it is because theyre small.

@Brunte84 @statsjamie I don't doubt that you have technology, and, in a few weeks time, will hammer social media direct from your London HQ ... funded of course by your crypto-currency billionaire donor. But where are the people? Why are they being hidden away?

@JFinchSaunders @WelshConserv The company itself cites "challenging market conditions in the last 3 years with reduced consumer confidence .... combined with escalating costs of employment in the UK and soaring industrial energy costs" Looks like it has both Conservative and Labour's hands on it actually.

@SeneddWaste Long on opinion & misconception; short on fact. The notion that Plaid politicians and members are welsh speaking? They're not all, by a long way. And where are these areas where welsh isn't spoken? e.g. there's more welsh speakers in Caerdydd or Wrecsam than Caernarfon

Much of the frustration with attempts to push the Welsh language stems from them being concentrated on parts of Wales that are historically English speaking. If campaigners focused efforts on preserving the language in Welsh speaking heartlands, like Ceredigion and North West Wales, instead of discriminating against non-Welsh speakers in places where the language is not spoken, there would be far more support. We would back it, for sure. It’s time to accept Welsh culture does not take one form. People in Cardiff and South Wales have a very different idea of what it means to be Welsh than Welsh speakers in Gwynedd. Plaid Cymru think they have a monopoly on Welshness. They don’t. Plaid’s attempts to impose their culture on other parts of Wales, over prioritising preserving it in places where it is prevalent, turn many people off. In fact, they actively neglect the latter. Our exposé highlighting a taxpayer funded Welsh speaking nursery in Bangor, at which small children were put in hijabs, is a good example. No Plaid politicians spoke out. In fact, through their adherence to ideological progressive liberalism, Plaid are actively complicit. It’s important people know.

Why young people should back Reform UK 🇬🇧 Young Brits deserve a future that’s actually worth fighting for, not one crushed by taxes, green lunacy, and endless government waste. Reform will lift the personal tax threshold to £20,000. That means hundreds more pounds in your pocket every month instead of feeding the beast in Westminster. Net Zero is wrecking our economy. We produce less than 1% of global emissions, yet we’re shutting down our own industries while importing everything on ships burning the filthiest fuel. It’s madness. Scrap it. We want to live freely, move freely, speak freely, no surveillance state, no Chinese-style social credit score system tracking your every move. Reform will defend those basic sovereign rights. Our farmers are being destroyed and Britain’s food security is the lowest since the Second World War. We need to grow our own food again. Strong British farming means jobs, cheaper and more reliable supplies, not endless virtue-signalling. We’re getting poorer because governments keep spending and borrowing like there’s no tomorrow, then printing money (quantitative easing) to cover it. That’s inflation. House prices, rents, equity’s, everything shoots up while wages stagnate and our purchasing power gets decimated. Reform will stop the waste, balance the books, and end the theft. We’ll deport the illegal migrants who cost taxpayers billions every year, save that money and put it straight back into our own people. How can we let hundreds of thousands of children live in poverty under drug-addicted parents and millions more with alcohol-dependent ones, yet keep pouring resources into those who have no right to be here? We back people who want to get ahead. Slash business taxes and cut employers National Insurance so businesses can actually afford to hire young workers. Rachel Reeves NI hike has already made it too expensive for businesses to take on school leavers and graduates. Reform will reverse that and create real job opportunities. Socialism always fails. You eventually run out of other people’s money and it slides straight into authoritarian control. Look at Venezuela, it used to be one of the richest countries in South America with massive oil reserves and huge potential, it could’ve been like Dubai, but it’s been completely ruined by socialist policies. We’re not repeating that disaster. This is how we get Britain back on its feet. Fix the foundations now: lower taxes, energy sanity, free speech, home grown food, and policies that reward ambition. Only then can the next generation actually thrive. Young people, the choice is obvious. It’s time for Reform UK. Let’s claim a brighter future that belongs to us. #ReformUK #Backyoungpeople
