@Cai_ParryJones Just 2 days ago you said ".... we will not fall into the trap of the boy who cried wolf. When we go on the attack, it'll be because it matters, and people will know to listen." Flags? Seriously?

@kamakeriad @RWTaylors Hadrian's Wall isn't the border. Have you consulted the people of Cumbria and Northumberland about giving a chunk away to Scotland? Bots, eh?

@RWTaylors I suggest we give Scotland the independence it seems to crave, extend Adrian‘s wall in an upward direction and charge them to enter England. After a few years when they have spent all of the money, little as it is, we can charge them to come in… For the day.

@PlaidExposed Seems that Reform & the Tories just don't want MS's to have the power to improve things, and would prefer to abdicate it to that other legislature next door. Shirking responsibility, I think it's called.

When Plaid politicians say that ordinary working people are out of order for having legitimate concerns about the level of immigration, we will be the voice of the reasonable majority. Read my piece for Reform Daily. 👇 reformparty.uk/news/we-will-b…

On election day the FAW posted this - a thinly veiled promo for Plaid Cymru, whose former chief of staff @HelenRhianwen is now the FAW'S head of pubic affairs, & colleague @IanGwyn turned up at Plaid's rally. These actions are forbidden by FIFA & UEFA. Where is the impartiality?

Wales cannot be defined by one place, one voice or one story. It is a nation of contrasts, where past meets future, where landscapes shift from mountains to coastline, and where communities across the country each bring something unique to the national identity. 🔗 Read more: fawales.co/TogetherWeAreS…

@ChazzerEvans Welcome to the world of grown-up politics. Suspect it's going to be a very long & frustrating 4 years for those who are only used to shouty soundbites.

Plaid supporters last week - “We’re taking over Wales!” Plaid supporters now - “Coalitions are actually a good thing" Seen more convincing victories in a pub quiz, at least they get a clear winner.🤣

@Lab4IndyWales @SionJobbins @LisiJ09 @WalesGovernance Don't think that the data actually exists. The total number of votes cast (for all parties) is verified at polling station level (and polling stations don't exactly match wards), but are then mixed with other polling stations to be separated into parties and counted.

@20NPHartleyHare Election time can be quite traumatic for people who live in an X bubble surrounded by right-wing propaganda, and encouragement & support from anonymous bots. The realisation that in the real world only a minority agree with their extreme views can take some getting used to.

@ifanmj No, I doubt that's right. They're based on demographics and expectations, rather than actual results. And probably give a reasonable indication at constituency level, but not down to ward level where more local factors come into play.

@SionJobbins @LisiJ09 Do we know where their data comes from? Unfortunately, for me it's the Maelor Saesneg bit (compared to our data from the count) that suggests that these maps are not too accurate at ward level.

@LisiJ09 @GutoOwenH2 @Dunadan9 @BritainVotesNow Flipping heck, @Plaid_Cymru winning in Maelor Saesneg - thumb sticking into England which Wales got during the Anarchy of (King) Stephen when the English were off fighting in Crusades. Plaid winning in the Wye Valley encroaching on Ewias - the "lost" Cwmwd now in Hereford 😉

@siamese1994 Yes, that's what they said about the other 60 countries who've gained independence from the UK. None of whom have wanted to reverse their decision. Odd, isn't it?

@Alli71247958 @thebarryhorns Speaking welsh doesn't make you more welsh, per se. But learning it does tend to open up a window into welsh culture that you wouldn't otherwise have & gives you a better understanding of our country. Of course, to understand that, you have to first do it.

@thebarryhorns Singing the anthem doesn't make you "more" Welsh - it just means you know the words. Speaking Welsh doesn't make you "more" Welsh than the 80% of the population that doesn't, it just means you can speak the language like others can speak French or Italian.....🤡🤡🤡
