Just went to DMV to renew my plates. I renewed my daughter’s as well, but her plates were almost double. I asked why, and the lady said, “because her car is considered fuel efficient.” I said, “the tags cost more because the car burns less gas?” She said, “yes. Since other vehicle owners have to pay more for gas, you have to pay more for tags so it’s fair.” So, the government is trying to get rid of gas cars by 2035 because they’re bad for the environment. But, I buy a fuel efficient car that’s better for the environment, and I’m penalized for doing so? More evidence the government does nothing because it’s better for you or the environment. Everything they do is a money & power grab.

@Badged_Patriot Your biases aside (note repeated use of "illegal," sometimes in all caps), it's useful to note that undocumented people CAN'T get insurance. You can't get a drivers license without proof of citizenship, and you can't get insurance without a license.

ACTUAL CALL: An ILLEGAL alien woman ran a traffic light & struck another vehicle causing disabling damage to both vehicles. She had no drivers license & no insurance. The man she hit only had liability insurance. I issued the woman tickets for no DL & no insurance. The man asked me what he could do in order to get his car paid for. I explained he would have to file a civil lawsuit. The man became very upset, began crying, and yelling at me to do more. I explained under the current law there was nothing more I could do. The man began cussing me & telling me it's not right that he has to suffer because she has no DL or insurance & I needed to at least arrest her if she's here illegally. Again I explained there was nothing I could do. The man continued to cuss me until he got in the wrecker to go with his car. **FYI- I took a lot more verbal abuse than I normally would because I totally understand the man's frustration. I realize his frustration is with illegals pouring into our country & nothing being done. I understand since I am a police officer he blames me as much as he does anyone else. Joe Biden places all police nationwide at risk because people take their frustration out on us at the street level. Just another example of why this country & law enforcement needs Donald Trump. 💯👮👮‍♀️🚔
