ND fans aren't liking the notion they were "thumped" by Northern Illinois last year. Fair enough. They lost at home to a MAC school. The fact they went on to play for a title shows bad losses can happen, but who you have shown you're capable of beating matters more. Agreed.

Worst NCAA Tournament of my life. Not because it was chalk, but because the first two rounds were terrible, 5 of the 8 sweet 16 games were terrible. 3 of the 4 Elite 8 games were terrible. Best event of the year was an absolute dud in 2025.
