Update on the farm: .@Angels fans should keep an eye on Nick Rodriguez of @trashpandas. Went 5-11 this weekend with 2 doubles, 4RBI, 5R, and a SB. 10th rd. pick from Missouri State could be a diamond in the rough. His college numbers were insane. Impressive player.

@HurricaneVision Yes! I’ve been scouting the draft for 5 years so I use my old base of grades (~2000 players) and target to their signing bonus. This is more of a what similar players have gotten in the past thing than directly a what this player should get thing.

A draft so nice, I had to share it twice. St. Louis Cardinals knocked this draft out of the park starting out just well in my opinion with smaller HS OFer Trevor Condon, but then did an exceptional job consistently capturing value, led by HS SS Rocco Maniscalco, & modeled college

OFers Andrew Williamson, Caden Ferraro, & Matthew Thomas, all of whom have massive pop. On the mound the Redbirds took 3 interesting RPs, w/ Cal Randalls FB being the best pitch in the draft, Nick Bonn & his incredible shins touching 100 & Derek Schaefer throwing a hard FB/CT/SL

Cardinals take SS Owen Henne out of Seton Hill University, a Division II school out of Pennsylvania. Really good bat-to-ball ability — posted an overall contact rate of 89.3%. Does chase at times, but takes his walks. Across 43 games, he posted a .393/.497/.579 slashline. Looks to be a good fielder.

A judge has granted these 15 athletes in Ohio their injunction, permitting them an additional year of eligibility. The case was filed in the wake of the new age-based, 5-year policy. The injunction also grants the players an ability to transfer now outside of the portal window.

Mike Bianco rescinded a kid's scholarship on June 28th, after he had been committed to them for four years and his brother played there and won a national title. All while this kid beat cancer to keep playing baseball.
