@shipwreckedcrew Not many ever have faced near total annihilation! I gave Israel the benefit of the doubt for months, but it became clear after some time that extermination systemic destruction was the purpose. It also continued well beyond the borders, even into Christian towns in Lebanon.

Gaza was the staging ground for a military force that invaded Israel and killed more than 1200 Israeli civilians. That made it a legitimate battleground. Israel was entitled to law to eliminate that threat in the future. Cities all over the world have suffered similar fates for centuries as a result of armed aggression from within their borders.
