The gas shortage situation in Europe is threatening to spiral out of control as French truck drivers are now protesting against skyrocketing fuel prices exacerbated by the situation in the Strait of Hormuz. The drivers claim they will intensify their actions if fuel prices don't go down. Much like Ireland, fuel in France is heavily taxed due to their embrace of net zero policies.

@agricontract at what point do we in farming put a surcharge on our products due to increase in fuel and fertiliser cost everybody else does and we as an industry can’t we just have to take it on the chin

I absolutely detest how our country has been allowed to overflow with rubbish. The countryside filled with plastic. It is everywhere. Every roadside, caked with filth. We shouldn’t accept it as normal. It is not normal. It is vile. Clearly there needs to be a central clean up effort, but actually? The key message is this. PUT YOUR RUBBISH IN A BIN. People need to take responsibility. It’s disgusting.
