In a washington examiner interview today Homan confirms Trump has far surpassed previous deportations, but the numbers should be much higher. Homan says DHS, DOJ are working on mounting legal challenges and local cooperation to clear the way for ICE and BP to expand operations.

Just an incredibly classless person.

Trump’s H-1B approval rate for his second term is higher than his first term and Obama’s, tying Biden’s during his first year. At the current rate of approvals and pace of applications, Trump could end up approving more H-1B visa applications than in his first term and maybe more than Biden. Trump’s restrictions on H-1B visas, notably the $100k new application fee, only went into effect in late September of 2025. The fee doesn’t apply to any visa holder already in the US, and the visa still allows for dependents to be sponsored and migrate with them. A student visa holder can hypothetically transition to H-1B status without the fee and then sponsor main dependents. As a note, Trump has reduced the number of approved student visas and other visas broadly, with reviews of visa applications. Notably, visas from the 39 banned countries are subject to extra scrutiny. Follow: @AFpost

@AFpost It’s the Trump party now, wonder how it will work once he’s gone

“Sometimes when you win, you really lose. And sometimes when you lose, you really win” -Rosie Perez, philosopher.

My parents were at the 1976 Bicentennial at Valley Forge and have told me my whole life how big of a deal it was Tons of people came, covered wagons that ACTUALLY traveled from every state with parades 250th doesn't feel as big. It was a different country

Today in 1921 President Harding signed the Emergency Quota Act, the first U.S. law with national origins quotas. It limited immigration to 3% of each nationality’s 1910 U.S. population, the result? It protected Heritage Americans (Northern/Western European stock) and preserved the nation’s ethnic, cultural & racial makeup.
