@TomRutherford17 For me it's even longer. It's total anti football, anti youth, favouritism with awful recruitment all mixed into one. I am so disinterested in games because it's so predictable and boring, and it shouldn't be like this.

@avfcthreads He’ll buy two players that are in their 30’s and put them on £200k a week.

The thing is i genuinely don’t trust our recruitment if Emery is still here in summer to reinvest however much we get from selling Rogers

Hope Forest and west ham complain to the premier League about villa giving spurs an unfair advantage, you can't field a weakened team...Premier League Rule E.20 - Fielding a "weakened" team 🤬🤬

@TheVillaPolls And what if we don’t win on Thursday? We’ve lost two winnable league games prioritising the Europa League and there’s a good chance we lose that too.

@JayVtid If we lose to Forest on Thursday and they don’t drop points tomorrow we’re going to look incredibly stupid.

Last night I said Forest were salivating - I take it back. Forest must be trembling. We've just forced their hand - they must go strong tonight, else risk getting sucked back in to the bottom 3. In the aftermath of that shit show, this is the silver lining. Emery's strategy?

@ashsutt86 @ThatAntffs He doesn’t “have to play” Dean Smith signings. We’ve recruited terribly generally. Overpaying and putting players on huge wages has massively restricted us.

@ThatAntffs Imagine sacking the best manager we possibly have ever had because he still has to play 70% of Dean Smith's teams......he can only extract so much from these players mate.

Imagine we lose the semi and drop out the top 5 to Bournemouth Emery would have to go for me, let's hope that doesn't happen!

@johntownley11 Wouldn’t say they particularly improved second half. Spurs knew we needed a goal and were quite happy to let us keep the ball. This “control” that emerged wants is just teams sitting off us because we can’t beat a park the bus tactic.

Unai Emery spoke to his players at half-time about Aston Villa's process under him over the last three and a half years and said their second half response against Spurs was a positive to take into the final games of the season. #AVFC birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football…

@JB_2024 @J_Tanswell The energy saving concept makes me laugh because in the last 10-15 minutes when we should have the energy we still play exactly the same way. Slow, plodding, dull.

@J_Tanswell Poor, again. When do we sack off this conservative, “energy saving” style? We have 4 games left of the season.

FT: Forest 1-0 Villa #AVFC/Emery will be confident of turning it around at Villa Park. As shown in the final 10 minutes when asking to slow things down, he was happy with the approach, barring Digne's handball. Will have to show more pop & better decision-making in attack, though

@J_Tanswell I’d love to know what makes him confident. We have to attack which makes us vulnerable on the counter and Forest will be relishing that.

It's been 7 months since we had our baby and we're still receiving unexplained hospital bills in the mail. Hardly ever an adequate description of services. Just a QR code to pay online. It feels intentionally confusing and difficult to get answers. We want price transparency.

@PhillipAnker @tinivule @JackDunc1 I am because it’s easier to go to another country in Europe than in the US. You’re too dense to grasp that and the fact we don’t HAVE to leave our country to experience different things

@tinivule @StJohnsShirtGuy @JackDunc1 No, mate, he isn’t making the point he thinks. Yes it’s a vast country, yes it’s hard. But in one statement he’s just proved the idea that Americans are warped by propaganda.

@PhillipAnker @StJohnsShirtGuy @JackDunc1 Listen mate, he is making a point. If you traveled 1000 miles, you could have been in half a dozen countries by nature of your location. Americans travel 1000 miles and they are still in their own country. That is no fault of their own. Its just easier for Europeans

@StJohnsShirtGuy @tinivule @JackDunc1 Nobody is arguing that the US isn’t a vast country. I’m struggling to see how you’re not grasping the argument here. You’re still only experiencing the same country.

@PhillipAnker @tinivule @JackDunc1 Because we don’t need to as much as you do. We can drive for four days and still be in our country. We have every type of climate and terrain you can want to visit in our borders. Must suck not to have such a diverse range of land and climates and people like we do.

@tinivule @JackDunc1 No, what you’ve done is focus entirely on a flippant remark that obviously wasn’t meant to be the point of the conversation, rather than tackle the actual point, which is that Americans don’t experience culture outside of the US.

@PhillipAnker @JackDunc1 "Most Americans have never left their own state and rely on propaganda to understand the outside world." It proves everything. It proves his point is wrong.
