Focusing for a moment on the POLICIES at play. Voters were asked whether they supported 100 different policies, but weren't told whether the policy was from Trump or Harris. Nearly all of Harris' policies got majority support from the public, and... 🧵

I bought this little citrus tree a couple months back and it keeps dropping leaves, a few at a time. I can't figure out why. Anyone have suggestions? It's growing little citrus fruit, so...that's a positive? It may have gotten over-watered once on the day I brought it home...

I feel like Friday never disappoints in the "founder emotional whiplash" department.

@kirbywinfield I wish more founders (and potential founders) would heed this, AND not take it as a negative. Don’t need VC, great! VC money is a relatively terrible deal compared to other financing options…

sent this to a founder with awesome demand and founder-market fit who insists on offshoring dev and forgoing a technical cofounder to "limit dilution"

Spent a weekend at a private event with 15 of the internet's top creators last summer. Here's a peek at my notes: 1. The Power of Community Doesn't matter where you are in the game: EVERYBODY yearns for community. There's magic in getting together. And it's something we all want more of, but... Most of us are just sitting around waiting to be invited to the party. Pro-Tip: Don't wait for an invite... just go throw your own party. Be the hub that connects your network. 2. Confidence, Not Ego True killers don't feel the need to prove it. No posturing. No chest-thumping. No dominating conversations. The true legends at this event spent the majority of the time just listening. 3. Hawks, not Peacocks Success looks a certain way... But it's not how most people think. It's not flashy designer clothes, suits, or over-the-top jewelry. It's 90% plain t-shirts. Being successful beats just looking successful. (p.s. if you're enjoying this, give me a follow @AnthonyVicino for more) 4. A-Players Think Differently Throughout hundreds of conversations, I never once heard: "Well, actually..." The best don't try to prove how much they know. They're try to extract as much knowledge from YOU as possible. If they disagree with you, they don't dig in their heels to prove why they're right and you're wrong... They ask questions to better understand YOUR position. Because at the end of the day their goal isn't to be right... it's to get to the right answer quickest. No prizes are given for being the smartest person in the room. There's a reason Know-It-Alls don't make it to the highest levels of the game. Success flows to those who commit to learning the most. 5. The Best Are Obsessed If you're not living and breathing your craft... Constantly investing in your skills... And obsessing over every single detail... Then you are going to get blown off the court by the guys who do. 6. Iterations Matter More than Repetitions The level to which guys these guys obsess and TEST every little detail is INCREDIBLE. Reminds me of what @naval said: "It's not 10,000 hours, it's 10,000 iterations." 7. Communication Is the Key That Unlocks Any Door The goal of communication is Influence and Connection. Interestingly, the most influential and connected people in the group weren't the ones with the best answers... They were the ones with the best questions. 8. Health is the Ultimate Flex Forget outward symbols of success like fast cars, fancy clothes, or shiny watches. The truest status symbol is a fit body. There's no faking that. You either put the time in... or ya didn't. "Your body is like a bank account that everybody can see." - @ShaanVP EVERYBODY at this weekend's retreat had made meaningful deposits in the account that actually mattered most... Their Health. 9. Whole Life Billionaires The most interesting part... None of these rockstars were just chasing money. They were all committed to living full and purpose driven lives. They embody an idea I call The Whole Life Billionaire. I'll explain more about that below.👇

@sweatystartup Yeah, basically all decent hotels do digital keys to your phone to open your room. You probably had this option on some recent trips but didn’t know about it. 🍻

Why can’t I check in a hotel from my phone and walk directly to my room? They know I paid for the room. They have my information. I have my phone in my pocket. Wasting 10+ minutes at front desks to get plastic keys and give a credit card they already have for incidentals is ridiculous!!!
