I don’t get the Michael Carrick hype. There’s nothing he’s done so far that’s better than what Ole showed in his first 10 games. You can’t point to a single player and clearly say, “this one has improved under Carrick.” If anything, most of them look dull right now. And as a team? There hasn’t been a single game where you felt we fully dominated from start to finish without giving the opponent a way back in. The leaks are already creeping back in too just two months after Amorim left. I understand where Beckham is coming from, I really do. But if we’re being honest, the signs right now aren’t good. Pipe down on the hype.
