Like so many ministers in the Starmer government (maybe most) this minister — Steve Reed — has no idea what he’s talking about and is totally out of his depth. Which, when the matter is national security, is rather serious.

Those getting upset about iftars in public seem to want to agree there's a 'time and place' for everything. Hyperbole and hypocrisy do not for reasoned debate make.

We are working towards a swift resolution to the situation in the Middle East, in the best interests of the British people – because there is no question that ending the war is the quickest way to reduce the cost of living.
