The number of Eagles fans in denial that AJ Brown wants out is kind of sad. You cannot accept that he might want to play elsewhere so you attack anyone who tells you what you don’t want to hear.

Said this a week ago. Brown wants out, the Eagles are aware and are trying to accommodate, but will only do it if they get the right comp back.

I don’t think anyone is suggesting Brown wants out no matter what. I think he wants to go to a team where he feels he’s better positioned to put up bigger numbers. Right or wrong, he is concerned about his legacy in the game. There’s also a chance he doesn’t get traded because teams don’t offer the Eagles fair value. That’s absolutely still in play and why reporters have hedged their bets on whether a trade actually occurs. But that uncertainty shouldn’t be read as a sign that AJ wants to stay. He doesn’t. He (and his agent) have made that clear.

The Eagles have resisted moving Tanner McKee in the past. They're bullish on him in the building. He's valued in the league more than in the public. But entering the final year of his contract and with an experienced QB making $3.9M on the roster, conditions are in place if they get an offer they like.
