@carolynharris24 Ok I'll ask you here.
Are you going to be a voice to end the arms trade with Israel?
English

@carolynharris24 No email address on your website. Can you supply one please so that I can ask you about policies?

.@BorisJohnson The Labour leader attacks local lockdowns when he wants to plunge the whole country into a full national lockdown
Something his own Shadow Health Secretary called "disastrous" #pmqs

@TidalLagoon
Still claiming that the consent has been preserved in perpetuity..?
CADS2015@CADS2015
On July 1st 2020 the U.K. Government sent a letter to the developer of Tidal Lagoon Swansea Bay to confirm that the projects Development Consent Order had expired. Please see the attached two pages of this letter.

@TidalLagoon And as to the work undertaken on site...
Article 2 of the development consent order defines "material operation" for the purposes of commencement of the authorised development.
Demolition, site clearance and ground investigation doesn't cut it...

@astra46 @Oldbob1964 @matthewbrumby @simonreeswales @WelshConserv Exactly..? It's the exact opposite of what you said. Don't be so fuckin' twp.
English

@Philpmj2 @Oldbob1964 @matthewbrumby @simonreeswales @WelshConserv Exactly so Wales let down by the Tories again, along with the rail electrification to Swansea.
English

By voting for the Abolish the Welsh Assembly party next year, you will be allowing Welsh Labour into power again
The only way to stop Welsh Labour is to vote for @WelshConserv
English

@astra46 @Oldbob1964 @matthewbrumby @simonreeswales @WelshConserv No he didn't. Which bit of my previous tweet didn't you understand? The plan was already approved - it obtained development consent in 2015. On 25 June 2018 Greg Clarke said the UK Gov wouldn't subsidise it.

@Oldbob1964 @Philpmj2 @matthewbrumby @simonreeswales @WelshConserv In June 2018 the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy announced that the Government would not approve the plan.
Wales left behind by the Tories
English

@astra46 @matthewbrumby @simonreeswales @WelshConserv Sigh...
Westminster DID approve the lagoon.
And they didn't scrap it, they just refused to subsidise it.
The consent has run out because they couldn't get a Marine Licence.
English

@matthewbrumby @simonreeswales @WelshConserv Sorry, but it was the responsibility of Westminster to approve the tidal lagoon, and to electrify the railways.
English

@YoulePost @TidalLagoon Been telling you for years Shorrock's scheme was a lost cause.
Dragon Energy Island..? Bet you it won't progress to a consent application.
English

Dragon Energy Island would appear to be the only Swansea lagoon game in town now, although @TidalLagoon will have a different take. tinyurl.com/y9anl38m
English

@CADS2015 Well done for persisting in your campaign against this #boondoggle.
English

Well, it would seem that Mark Shorrock’s dream of building a Tidal Lagoon in Swansea Bay, using rock from his Cornish Quarry is over. Let’s wait and see what he dreams up next for Dean Quarry. What a David & Goliath journey this has been.
