How can the Nigerian military effectively fight bandits in the forests if they are not properly fed and supported? What will become of our country if this continues?

Christians gather in the street to pray. An immigrant walks up, spits at them, and tries to shut it down. Bad move. He picked the Christian who doesn’t turn the other cheek.

An older man living in Ghana shared what he describes as one of his worst experiences in the country, involving a land dispute in Dodowa. He said after purchasing a piece of land and developing it over the years,,he was later arrested over an ownership disagreement, questioning where he should turn after years of working on the land. The dispute was eventually resolved through Ghana’s judicial system. “ look at how long it took, should i be kind, should i continue to show love, he asked. 📷| updateking #AuntieDedei

🚨I LEFT RANGERS BECAUSE OF HUNGER 𝗞𝗔𝗧𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗘 𝗢𝗡 𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗛𝗘 𝗟𝗘𝗙𝗧 𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗦 Ex-Chiefs star Willard Katsande opened up about the difficult experience of his debut coaching job in Zimbabwe at Rangers FC — from writing his resignation twice, to going two days without food. "I was angry. You blame yourself. You ask, ‘Why did I even come here?’ Then from there it became worse. The players had to share the gate takings,” Katsande said. “The gate takings had to pay the ambulance services. The gate takings had to pay the referees. The balance left was about USD 400 [R6 500]. Every player was getting USD 17. That was after the first game.”[R277] “At some point, I went for two days without eating any food. I am not talking about salary, because I also have children who need to pay school fees and eat." “I am talking about me going two days without eating. Then, on the third day, you eat maybe in the morning. You must know that in the evening, at night, you are not eating. I kept quiet. It becomes a norm." “I thought to myself, how can these people sleep in.

Where is the statement about Ireland?
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus@DrTedros

It is profoundly heartbreaking to witness another surge of xenophobic violence in #SouthAfrica this week. Hundreds have marched on Parliament, thousands of families have been displaced, and lives have been tragically cut short. These include at least five Ethiopians killed earlier in the attacks, and five Mozambicans who died in Mossel Bay. Thousands more are now fleeing for their lives. To see South Africa turn to xenophobia is a tragic betrayal of the country's struggle for independence and freedom. African nations stood united to dismantle apartheid. Ethiopia proudly supported "Madiba," Nelson Mandela, in 1962 and issued him a passport so he could travel the continent. Other countries helped in many ways, including with political and financial support. Disagreements and grievances must be addressed by the justice system and the rule of law, never through vigilante violence and collective punishment. South Africa deserves better. Africa deserves better. Stop the hate. Protect the vulnerable. Uphold our shared humanity.
