I have just received the devastating news from Mazwi’s family that the two suspects have been released before their appearance in Court. Our problems are getting deeper under the current criminal justice system. I am on the way to Vosloorus Police Station to personally understand the circumstances surrounding the release of the two suspects. 1. If they didn’t have a case, why then did they arrest them in the first place? 2. Have they checked the legal status of this Somali national?
