All you need is basic stuff to start man, but once you find yourself not able to fine tune your shot or if your way bouncy on a ground strike and not able to get a smooth engagement you need the heavier metal stuff. I use Logitech 3d pro for simple. Thrustmaster has a great one too like that in the same price point bracket. But the big dog is the Hotas warthog. I’m using plastic pedals so I’ll see how I like them but they always have the TPR pedals which are nasty good
