@LeCrazyStuka @TheIronArmenian Yea, my in match time was around 2k hours, but I can guarantee I have double that if you include test flights/drives and custom games.

@Koeiss @TheIronArmenian Yeah it only tracks that, because my total steam playtime is way higher than my statshark playtime despite me playing WT on WT launcher before switching to steam I am guilty of a lot of test flights :)

@LeCrazyStuka @TheIronArmenian Ah, cool. I didn't know that was a feature in stat-shark. Although I'm guessing that only tracks in match time, not test drives, custom games, etc. But at least a good baseline.

@Koeiss @TheIronArmenian You can go to statshark, write your username in the search bar, go to profile and see the total time spent in game statshark.net I think you can also do the same through gaijin WT website (or forums) but I am not sure

@FemboyDCS I think this happens because the iconic image of the Vietnam war is the Viet Cong, who were insurgents. Hanoi and Haiphong were some of the most air-defense rich cities in the world at the peak of the war and staffed by a professional army and Soviet/Chinese advisors.

the vietnam war is a good example of how effective early soviet air defence systems were, but nobody ever mentions it because the people who would like to talk about that are obsessed with the idea that the NVA was actually dogshit for some reason

@RockChartrand That's why any discussion of this topic is such a toxic shitshow. No, they weren't strictly "socialist" but the definitely practiced some socialist policies. Facism is an odd sort of corporate, state level social integration where the individual exists for the sake of the state.

The point is that the Nazis actually practiced collectivism, state economic control, subordination of property rights to the state, and hostility to liberal capitalism. They weren’t Marxists, but they also weren’t capitalists. They were a nationalist branch of collectivism competing with the internationalist branch. The urinal joke only works if you ignore what the regime actually believed and practiced.

@VTHistory25 @TheAliceSmith I always find people like that funny. Just because someone says they're something doesn't mean they are. Yes, Nazism is called socialist but in practice it is barely that. There were what one may refer to as socialist policies but by no means were they a socialist society.

I had knee surgery as a teenager. The dr brought me a sharpie and told me to circle the correct knee and put an X on the other then he left the room. So I did exactly as instructed. Then I drew arrows to the circle and wrote "Operate here" and drew more Xs on the other leg and wrote "Do not touch". I sat there bored for another 30 minutes writing random stuff all over my body like "You can't have my appendix" and "Why are you looking up here? Focus on the knee". I even had my mom write on my back something like "If you can read this, wrong side. Flip me over." Then I covered up with the sheet and the anesthesiologist showed up. I was told that I said some weird stuff while I was going under, but that is a different story. The surgery went fine, I had to stay in the hospital overnight. When the dr came into my room to check on me, he said that I had thrown off their schedule because when they uncovered me and saw all of the notes that they laughed for 10 minutes. When they finally got their composure, they rolled me up on my side to get me onto the operating table and saw the note on my back and lost it again. He said that the surgery started about 30 minutes later than it was supposed to thanks to my drawings and notes.
