Following the events of the past few weeks, and after extensive brainstorming with my brother @PhysicsFintech we have come up with an anthem for our great Obidient movement.

Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar was only a young physicist when he calculated something terrifying about stars. Using quantum mechanics and relativity, he showed that a white dwarf star could only support itself up to a certain mass. Beyond that limit, electron pressure would fail. Gravity would win. The star would have to collapse. That mass limit is now called the Chandrasekhar limit. Arthur Eddington, one of the most respected astrophysicists in the world, rejected Chandrasekhar’s result. To Eddington, the idea that nature would allow a star to collapse beyond ordinary understanding seemed absurd. He trusted his physical taste over the young man’s mathematics. Eddington’s public criticism hurt Chandrasekhar deeply and slowed acceptance of the idea. The conflict became one of the most painful episodes in astrophysics: an older scientific authority standing in the way of a younger physicist whose equations were pointing toward the violent death of stars. Chandrasekhar was right. His work became central to modern stellar evolution, white dwarfs, supernovae, neutron stars, and the later understanding of compact objects. He received the 1983 Nobel Prize in Physics for his theoretical studies of stellar structure and evolution.

Today, I officially received my PhD degree award! My husband @flowidealism went to the University of Chicago to do his PhD specifically to prove the free market economists wrong. He was that committed. He became depressed for two years... Because he learned he'd been lied to his entire life. He went looking for ammunition and came back converted.  Most people avoid that risk. They'd rather keep believing something comfortable than find out it's wrong, because once you see it, you can't go back to not seeing it.

Klein-Gordon equation ✍️ It is an important concept in physics. It explains how certain tiny particles, which have no spin, behave when they move at very high speeds. This equation combines the principles of quantum mechanics, the unusual realm of very small things, with Einstein's theory of relativity. In simple terms, it states that an invisible field extends throughout all of space and time, acting like a wave. However, its inherent "heaviness," known as mass, influences how it moves and vibrates. Particles like the Higgs boson or pions are essentially small ripples or packets of energy in this field. This equation was one of the first successful efforts to merge quantum principles with relativity. It also naturally explains the existence of antiparticles, which are mirror images of particles. Today, it serves as a foundation for understanding many particles in the universe and is widely used in modern particle physics and cosmology.
