Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2 outsold the Xbox Series version of the game in 2025 despite only being on sale for half the year. 10% of the sales were on Switch 2. Switch 2 is actually making a nice positive impact for developers in revenue, more reason to make high quality ports.

@Kelol3911 @mahouteq It’s not bad at all, just short as hell. Talking 6 hours on average first time through. It’s quite fun actually and should’ve been a paid expansion to 2 remake instead of its own game.

@Linearbounded @lindseysznn @gamestop Took 15 years for prices to climb on the 3ds, not everybody has the luxury of waiting that long to potentially profit. Not to mention that switch 2 can do everything a switch 1 can, 3ds doesn’t have a successor. Definitely contributes to the value being the last of the line.

i went into @gamestop for the switch 2, they didn't have one but a nintendo worker was there taking pics and he asked why i wanted the switch 2 and i said the new game! and then i asked gamestop how much for my switch oled in box brand new and they said MAX $120 like what

@Telominas @lindseysznn @gamestop They retailed for 350 plus tax since inception. If second hand prices go beyond that due to lack of components we’ve got far bigger problems to deal with.

@lindseysznn @gamestop Some advice here is really bad... with the price hikes of consoles the last couple of years, and the ongoing lack of computer components (and therefore price hike) due to gen-AI, you might even get more for the OLED in the future than you bought it for.
