Had a call with this Dutch guy who's been living in Italy for years. He and his partner have a network of Italian winemaking families quietly looking to sell. Not big commercial operations - small, family-run places making incredible wine for generations. He told me that half the buyers end up moving there, turning the farmhouse into their dream home or luxury retreat. But you can't just walk into Italy and start looking. Families are protective, there are cultural barriers, and most opportunities never go public. These guys have spent years building trust with winemaking families across Tuscany, Piemonte, all the good regions. They handle the whole transition - staff, operations, business continuity. We partnered up since I keep getting people asking about Italian wineries and if you've ever dreamed about owning a vineyard in Italy... or you know someone who has feel free to get in touch.

One of the funniest things about living in Italy is that nobody can quite wrap their head around what I do Just took a quick coffee break and the conversation went like this: -So what do you do? -I write online -Oh, no way! Who's your publisher? -I don't have a publisher -Wow, so you own your own publishing house? -No, not quite, I just have an audience and share directly with them -How's that work with royalties? -Well, the platform I use to publish lets you keep 90% of your earnings -90% of the money from books sold? -Well, kind of, but I don't sell books -You're an author who doesn't sell books? -What I write is more along the lines of "saggi" (essays) -Oh, so you sell PDFs then? I hear you can make some really good ones with Canva... I've easily had 20+ iterations of this exact conversation 😁

Marketing in the age of the LLM? How do you thrive, capitalize, and strive to jive with the machines? There are a lot of different perspectives based on what kind of marketing you focus on. Which is why I talks with different marketers with different perspectives. @Picanza says you can use AI to personalize at scale but.. @wilreynolds categorizes chatGPT's answers by controllability... @vic_blinova LLMs put brand ambassadors into focus because... @mrmattdavies urges you to avoid the trap of imitation lest you sink into the quicksand @AlizaVisagie says scale smarter but only if storytelling can lead the way... Anand Sankaranarayanan warns you to keep your data fresh lest the LLMs... Marion Andrivet focus on what the AI can't do... community (very similar to what the great @Olgandrienko of @semrush was recently sharing!) @alischwanke does want you to imitate (uh-oh @mrmattdavies).... but in a way that helps you better align with your audience @MordyOberstein (that's me) I have a very simple equation to help you appear in LLMs and you are going to HATE it. Would love to hear what y'all have to say on this topic! There are so many facets and unique considerations different marketers & teams are going to have.
