This is correct, btw. Infinity War doesn’t work because Thanos was built up, it worked because the lore of the Infinity Stones were dropped consistently, and the CHARACTERS we were meant to root for were firmly established. That’s what should get the criticism for Doomsday.

The grey suit is very telling. Almost certainly confirms the leak about what he's doing in the first act and likely means that his partner in that scene is wearing the same color suit...and could lead into that film Reynolds is writing.
