A RENGA Story

Some may ask why I stay bullish on @RENGA_inc Especially in this token/gaming meta. A small thread 🧵why…. (Sorry no outlandish Speculation) TEAM/ARTIST This one is simple, @DirtyRobotWorks is a masterful artist with a unique style that captures elements of anime while remaining true to his roots. While bringing emotion and movement to “still” art. @cur8orofearth is someone I’ve always respected and has great views and insight into the space with a great background and skills that apply perfectly to a web3 project. Including some other great people on the team, some that have helped DR bring some of the best prints I’ve ever laid eyes on, and helped him in other endeavours outside of web3. The new team is small and nimble and focused on the original Renga philosophy and DRs vision for Renga. This is vital and needed to bring the IP to life, to web2 and beyond. In the proper manner. Rebuild the base and grow from there. Will be more drawing sessions live on discord with DR soon, Chatting all things renga and showing the process of the master at work. ART/ARCHETYPES Simple, some of the greatest PFP art in my eyes and bridges/crosses over to “typical” art that can be displayed and viewed as something more than just a PFP. The diverse archetypes allow for easy use of IP in multiple cases or settings, while remaining seen as Renga/DR art. STORYTELLING Something that was starting to get a bit lost, is now going to be at the forefront with DR at the helm. Bringing connection, emotion, and depth to a project only strengthens its IP and holders feelings towards it. Quality Storytelling can achieve this. Renga graphic novels bringing background to each archetype may be/are coming…. APPAREL This is a touchy subject for the lack of quality etc. in this space and some of the afterthought or lack of thought put into some of it. But DR has history designing and creating true apparel, Not merch, his words. Fabric, cuts, and details down to the tags all designed & selected for quality and style (rizz for the kids). There is substance to good apparel for a brand and how it can bring people to appreciate it all. Coming soon… PHYSICALS DR has mentioned in AMAs these will be a part of renga, from high quality prints to toys (toys in development). Not comparing to Pudgys but I think their model of expanding IP is the way forward. Not that it was only the toys in Walmart that solidified them but the multi pronged approach in web3 and into web2 with physicals/branding/licensing that drove them forward. Renga has the IP to standout in that sense. HAAS F1/PARTNERSHIPS/CONNECTIONS Multi year contract with an F1 team is still a net positive, even if the floor price doesn’t show that imo. So much more can and will be done with this partnership, hopefully as NFTs maybe regain some legitimacy back. Having a connection/partnership with Yuga/LOTM doesn’t hurt. DR drawing loot for LOTM is awesome to see and a fun way to spread his art and talent to more folks. COMMUNITY Some amazing people and collectors in Renga that truly are in it for the right reason and for the belief in an artist and vision. The community has been through a lot for better or worse and there is still so much support in the community for DR and Renga. FUTURE DR and the team have stated many times this is NOT a short term project and they are building off plans/goals for years, not months. Things may not come as quickly as others but with time can come quality and thats what I expect. The past is the past and there have been a few months of cleaning up and restructuring etc, but looking forward, I still see a bright future for DR and Renga. Execution, communication/building along side the community will be vital. IP lends itself to allowing many options to be explored (hopefully into some form of gaming and media at the right time and opportunity) I'm sure I’ve missed points including things that are most likely in the works no one outside of the team knows. Thanks for listening to me babble for once. P.S. No shit I have a bag and bias if I support a project/artist. So take it with a grain of salt if you like But I try to be objective ❤️

The community OG @BAYC1K just bought up a huuuge amount of blur listing by the farmers just to sell them to the community for a very good price! That way the @blur_io farmers cant keep their system running while ruining the floor of the project. The real community and true believers already started to buy @BAYC1K bags to support his idea! What an amazing story! @DirtyRobotWorks is just about to start building the new visual story of Renga. Lets see where all this goes. Respect and love to everyone!🧡🧡🧡
