@davepl1968 @CBSNews I have the same issue with UK media, such as the BBC, or Sky News etc. it's becoming hard and harder to know how biased they are. Instead, I've taken to watching and reading French news, such as France24

I can no longer tell if @CBSNews is left or right. Which probably means they align with me, which means they're by definition "centrist" :-)

@Deivid11 @fabpot both laravel and symonfy has quite some good things available. Php itself, and it is the same for js/ts, is not well tooled yet for ml related work , like python or Java is. Who knows what 2026 will bring :)

2026 might be the year every developer wants to build their own agent (coding, personal, ...). A bit like frameworks 10/15 years ago. Great learning exercise and highly recommend as a weekend project.

@davepl1968 @ThePrimeagen anything relatively new or frequent apis changes, still great at discovering (old) versions, and then I write the code. Anything new with apis symbols and names looking extremely close to each other is a bitter/good reminder about how they work internally ;-) try with llvm :)

@ThePrimeagen Seriously, what code have you had to write lately that Codex couldn't have written? I don't mean that rudely, I mean it in the sense that either (a) you're way understimating the AI's ability or (b) I'm way underestimating the complexity of what you're working on.

@GergelyOrosz current admin did the same before any market impacting announcements so far. Nothing happened yet. I suppose, if it changes sides, it will get busy with the next potus administration...

Let's assume that inside trading on Bitcoin long/shorts remains legal: because Bitcoin is not regulated. And insiders figure out what major announcements move Bitcoin up or down. What happens? Insiders win big time, non-insiders lose, and learn to retreat from BTC markets? Or they stay despite growing losses to insiders?

When I worked at Microsoft, it was mandatory for all employees to watch this video about how a former employee made $400K trading company stock w indsider info. Got 2 years of jail. The message was to never inside trade company stock. Crypto is not company stock though, is it?
MartyParty@martypartymusic

The insider who opened trades 30 mins before Trumps tarrif announcement closed the trades for $104m+$88m=$192m profits. The @HyperliquidX accounts were opened today.

@dhh the same goes for the right, too. There are almost no more reasonable people to have actual conversations or compromises. And this kind of posts (either color) just exacerbates it. world of fools.

The best thing about the authoritarian far-left tactic of calling everyone they're mad at a nazi is how it naturally encloses the fringe. There's no possibility of broad support from such a dogmatic and ideological corner.

Hey @jetbrains, you don't have to do this nonsense any more. I fully understand why companies felt cowed into these humiliations, but the woke regime has fallen, so you can stop performing its rites.

@dhh This. Honestly I’m exhausted with these distractions, glad we’re getting focus back to just shipping good software. Every time my Jetbrains IDE flags ‘fireman’ as an error, I’m reminded of how far we let the Overton window shift this past decade

@julianmarq1 @dhh @jetbrains "you people" and the likes Julian, you don't know me. You assume things based on our different opinions on... docs. Generalizing, assign persons to "groups" you can hate. In short, you have serious issues.... work on it.

@PierreJoye @dhh @jetbrains Concern trolling never worked against you people. Why would your transparent, asinine attempts at the reverse card work in your favor? Everyone knows you are hypocrites. It's one of the reasons you lost. Let me guess, didn't understand that? Metaphorical pig rolling in the mud🤭

@julianmarq1 @dhh @jetbrains insults indeed help you making your point. talking about being a clown, i don't bother with your sensitive circus. If you get offended by how a doc is written, I would suggest sorting that out first instead.

@dhh I would suggest you read "Long road to Freedom" or "The Gulag Archipelago". accesorly, also go back to code instead of this crusade. As some of your points might be right, or I might agree, your overly rage and outcrying call for vengeance erase them.

Now that the wheels have fallen off the woke regime in tech, we'd be smart to offer amnesty to those who got caught up in it. Be the counter force to the purity purges that plague that side. Accept earnest apologies, embrace the fallen, and forgive those who trespass against us.

@unclebobmartin @sboag @dhh It goes on both sides, too far. I agree on tagging a whole group is wrong in so many ways. There are extremists and haters on each group. There are more groups than the two some like to define. It is about time for reasonable people to come together. All sides.

@unclebobmartin well, he has good points, wrong facts as usual but some points EU should or is acting on. But coming from a US president, saying that the UN does not work, while US, and now CN and her new vassal, blocks everything, yeah, sure :) the rest is the usual bs he fulls his blanks with

@LundukeJournal I have been twice in the other side, being insulted as I was considered "far left", to disagree with some jerks insulting another person. The issues are real. There are jerks, idiots, racists, and intolerance in every community. Up to us to exclude them. that begins with respect.
