Graphic footage - Bailey Simonsson had to be taken from the field on a medicab & is heading to hospital after a significant lower leg injury initially disagnosed as a dislocated ankle. Video shows clear deformity at ankle - foot effectively pointing the wrong way at the end. Boot gets caught underneath & turns foot out significantly. Mechanism brings clear concern for ankle fracture/dislocation - if confirmed wide recovery range for such a brutal injury but usually at least 3+ months. Just horrible to see for Simonsson who has had such a rough run with injury, thoughts with him!
