@JaneBransby @martin_mckee @ActionLewisham Been in Berlin this summer, looking out as my husband is able but blind. Across Berlin platform to train was level and I saw a fair bit both in the City and slightly further out. The access to platforms see@ed variable but a lot if lifts or deep runs of stairs.

@martin_mckee @ActionLewisham A query (which you may not be able to answer unless you noticed) - how accessible are trains & stations? When I was in Denmark I was struck by level access almost everywhere. Is it similar in other countries? Not knowing puts me off (hubby would love it!).

@B_Strawbridge My mother loved art and passed the passion to me. When she died I was left a lot of her pictures; some I did not want to live with. I sold those and bought something I love. Walk past it every day and think of her and her sad life but she gave me this joy.

My mum's name was Isabel, and throughout the years she had an income, from teaching, she loved to buy occasional paintings from local artists. She'd have approved of me spending a little of her inheritance on this!

This beautiful seascape is the work of Dorset artist, Rachel Sargent, bought when I visited her studio just after my mum died. For some reason it made me well up, and I heard my mum, as clear as day, whispering "Buy it, on me" So I did, and now it reminds me every day of my mum💙

@Shelmish I’m my blind husbands carer: it’s so important to tell people about services otherwise they get taken away because no one uses them. I refuse him help sometimes making others understand just how excluded esp from digitisation. Once people know they understand a bit!

A female Wool Carder bee has found the Lamb's-ear (Stachys byzantina) we're waiting to plant out... AND I just watched her collecting the soft downy hairs to line her nest!!! This beautiful female Wool Carder #bee has made my summer ☀️

@celiahart We’ve certainly seen a huge increase in bee populations in in mown areas, miner bees, solitary and some black ones. This is year four if no mow and populations are increasing. Something is eating the black fly which Mrs s we have excellent broad beans!!

@sainsburys Is this line ever open? I've now tried on three occasions and never ever get an answer. This is very poor service indeed. Passed from one unable person to another. The answer is not on the help centre and I can no longer use my nectar points any other way.
