@KirstieMAllsopp We live in a risk adverse society exacerbated by some who ‘seem’ to delight in blame culture. Luke 6:37 Individual differences mean that one size may not fit all. Social services, of course, are simply doing a job. Be strong, Kirsty.

@BBCr4today BLAME #blamecultute @Emmabarnett Small wonder GP recruitment is dire.High patient expectation and blame culture. Younger GPs are risk adverse with good reason, but where does this leave secondary care? The NHS is running on empty already.

@BBCOutofDoors Housing is a big problem for those providing a service in the Outer Hebrides. When the sisters sold a convent we were renting, South Uist’s doctor was homeless until a lovely patient allowed us to rent her holiday let. Years later we remain grateful #tourism

@GdnScotland @severincarrell Aw but try to attend a Saturday function on mainland Scotland without taking the Friday and possibly the Monday too, as annual leave. Ghastly infrastruture @FlyLoganair over to you for comment. Sort out the Benbecula - Glasgow weekend flight schedules.

What a heartlifting item @BBCRadio4 #bh @bbcpaddy Thank you Monty Don. The Candlemas Bell or the Snowdrop is said to rear her head on Candlemas Day ( Feb 2nd) but here, in Angus, they have been in flower for two weeks.

@BBCOutofDoors I took my Christmas decorations down yesterday on the christian celebration of #Candlemas. The snowdrop in purest white array, first rears her head on Candlemas day It is the midwinter point between the shortest day and the spring equinox. Similar to #imbloc

@SheilaDillon @BBCFoodProg @julielincooks Great programme, Sheila. Always keen to ring the seaweed changes, we lunched on haggis, tatties and dulse enhanced ratatouille. Verdict haggis and 🍅beats neeps. Moister😀

@wesstreeting the Prime Minister is a Wykehamist. I wonder if parents from a similar background to his will be able to afford to pay VAT on school fees. I suspect not and so those using private schools will turn to the state. Your Maths is flawed.
