Gotten into the habit of calling all Congressional representatives I dislike “Democrats” (it irritates a friend of mine who is a Democrat).
By this metric, there about 10-15 Republicans in Congress.

I’m rewatching “The Civil War” for the umpteenth time and I’m always moved in the beginning when it’s said that 7,000 Americans fell in 20 minutes at Cold Harbor. Shelby Foote was correct when he said one needs to understand the war to understand us as a peoples.
