As I’m in the market for a new hat, I’m torn between a homburg or a boater. Any opinions one way or the other? While not quite a “Vox Populi Vox Dei” moment, I’m curious to hear what others think.

In an effort to touch up on my poetry, a field I have almost no experience in, I have begun reading Robert Frost. I am impressed (for I am a fool) how even some hundred years on, Robert Frost’s poems about New England life resonate so deeply and so well. It’s as if I were there!

@mortimer778 I actually have a fedora and wear it well (or I think!). But a boater might be nice as the occasions where I wear a fedora would probably overlap entirely with the occasions I’d wear a homburg. A boater would add more opportunities.

@PineTreeGOP As much as I feel a homburg fits your aesthetic better, but it looks a bit like a fedora and would look somewhat cringe. I say do the boater. Granted I also just like boaters.
