A stock market decline is as common as a January blizzard in Colorado; if you are prepared, it cannot harm you.

@ragingbu11s Exactly. Same script, different stock each year. Every panic is a pop quiz on ‘do you really know what you own.’ $89 PLTR was one test; the next one will test whether you can hold – or even buy.

@Pinkish_Skfvm Fully agreed. A good example of this was this time last year with the tariffs. Investors panicked. Big stocks were down like $PLTR at $89. Those who held and bought the dip were the winners for the year.

If you are in a stock and it’s down over 30%, you’re probably thinking about selling. Before that, first ask yourself what changed? Is thesis intact? Fundamentals? Focus on metrics that matter rather than fear and emotion and the market will treat you well.

@BullishBobby99 @JesseCohenInv @Investingcom @grok The current storage bull market is indeed "crazy," but it's important to recognize that it's driven by the long-term structural force of AI, rather than by traditional short-term supply-demand mismatches.

@therogueoracle @MMatters22596 After any asset experiences a rapid rise, it accumulates short-term profit-taking and sentiment premiums. Buying at this point will most likely result in a painful correction. Your fear is not weakness, but rather awe of the "mean reversion" principle.

$MU is literally giving an insane opportunity to buy. The stock has ran nearly 90% since the start of 2026, and is still the most undervalued tech company on the market. - Revenue is about to more than double YoY - 260% annual EPS growth over the next 2 years - Nearly 60% gross margin Yet it's trading at a RIDICULOUS 5.5x NTM P/E. This is lower than $PYPL. In 2027 $MU could be more profitable than $META or $AMZN. But it's currently trading at 1/6th of $AMZN's MC. That's how insanely cheap this company is. There's a good chance we will NEVER see something like this again.

@MaggHo1 @MMatters22596 When prices rise, don't ask "Should I buy now?", but rather "At what pace should I buy?" All the pain comes from buying at the peak with all your funds. If you want to establish a position but the price is high: use dollar-cost averaging or buy on pullbacks.

@101sfinance @MMatters22596 The most expensive emotion in investing isn't fear, but the anxiety of "it's too late." Truly good companies won't miss out on a second wave just because you missed the first.

@fabiancstrjn @AdityaInvests90 Exactly right. HOOD has the brand but not the backbone. SOFI has the backbone – they just need one high‑volume moment where HOOD fails and they don’t. That’s all it takes to flip perception.

@AdityaInvests90 HOOD has brand recognition with younger traders. It also has a history of locking up under extreme volume on things like GME & crypto. $SOFI has a unique opportunity. If it holds up in euphoric events and executes trades when HOOD locks up, it will become the platform of choice.

@reynol22417 @AdityaInvests90 Revenue growth is average, but profits have held up, indicating strong market activity and user stickiness. The stock price drop is actually an opportunity to validate the long-term logic. I share the same attitude towards SOFI.

@AdityaInvests90 Look at Hoods Net income with lower revenue. They run a tight ship. I still like $SOFI and am holding it long.

@Pinkish_Skfvm @charliebilello Near term noise is not a concern for me as I'm in for the loong term. I'm holding what I already have but am not aggressively buying the dips like 2020, 2022 and 2025.

@Tinman76666154 @charliebilello I completely agree. From "not being afraid of fluctuations" to "respecting the rhythm," this is true long-termism—staying present, but no longer paying for every appearance.

@Tinman76666154 @charliebilello Same. Cut some risk, but still ~80% invested. 20% cash for a dip. I'd rather ride than wait completely. A decade of gains is too costly to miss. You reducing for short-term fear or high valuation?

@Pinkish_Skfvm @charliebilello Good question. I'm 50/50 right now. I'm investing less this year and just let it ride but if the pull back is significant I'll add more. If the next ten years is a repeat of the last ten I'd be very happy.

@Tinman76666154 @charliebilello When it comes to investing, persistence is more important than starting early. Will you continue buying when prices are falling? Or are you planning to stay put until retirement? I'd love to hear your plans.

@Pinkish_Skfvm @charliebilello I believe $QQQ bottom in 2022 at $260/share which was around my first buy in 2020 at $263/share. I added heavily during corrections up until last year and now it's my largest holding. So your starting point is great.

@Tinman76666154 @charliebilello Starting in 2020 wasn't too late! QQQ nearly doubled after that (and even after the 2022 correction, it's still considerable). Many people waited until 2024 to jump in. The best time to invest was ten years ago; the second best time is now.

@DunceDictNL @amitisinvesting Your composure and foresight are admirable. I'm also expressing my confidence in Amazon through my position size. Since we're on the same page, why don't we follow each other? We can exchange our investment rationale and encourage each other when it's consolidating or declining.

what type of pump and dump are the market makers doing with big tech today after earnings 😂 $META worst day since October 2025 $MSFT back to $400 $AMZN quickest $14 reversal I’ve ever seen $NVDA taken down below $200 looks like $GOOGL is the market’s favorite holding onto it’s +5% pretty crazy swing from yesterday

$GOOG +142% in one year. $2.75 trillion in shareholder value added, at $4.7 trillion now. A friend of mine who works at a gigantic fund always used to tell me say it’s so hard to generate alpha in mega caps, “because there’s no edge”. I always laughed at that. So funny.

@DunceDictNL @amitisinvesting But that's how the market sometimes works; even good companies can be forgotten for a long time. Since we've already waited two years, waiting another six months to a year is probably more worthwhile to take the gamble.
