@BrianRoemmele The Cure, The Smiths, The B-52s.....same here. But where are they now. These younguns would be late 50s/early 60s. Did they all grow up to be Project Managers?

Dublin, 1989. I still think today is the best time in fashion but I miss how subcultural groups used to have much more distinct modes of dress and you could tell someone's interests, hobbies, and music taste from their clothes.

@ainthavingit @dieworkwear It was an Irish thing. None of my English friends ever heard the term even though they were Robert Smith clones at the time.

@dieworkwear Until I saw this video I had never heard of "Cure-heads," and neither my nor my merry reprobate friends from the 80s would have identified as such, though we dressed similarly and listened to the same music.

@silkysmooth_gal @dieworkwear Some of us still dress in a similar fashion but my hair can only dream of achieving that kind of volume now, sigh.

The Wup Chow, featuring me on vocals and keys, are playing in Anseo with Pearse McGloughlin & Nocturnes on Nov 20. Here we are looking pissed off under an arch.
