@EmmaCDeSouza Emma; I believe the old line through Enniskillen has been partly built upon now. The logistics of bringing rail through the Clogher Valley, Enniskillen and on to Sligo Donegal would be challenging to say the the least. Perhaps one for shared Island and An Taoiseach's Office..

Over the years I’ve been in many towns and cities when they were being bombed — in a few cases (Baghdad, Belgrade etc) by my own country. No matter what the justification, most of the victims have been entirely innocent. I’ve come to loathe the very thought of aerial bombardment.

I was proud to be the only Northern Ireland MP called to ask the Chancellor yesterday about the importance of helping people in Northern Ireland with Home Heating Oil this evening. Rather than the Chancellor meeting with me, I said I would prefer if she met with our Northern Ireland Executive and the NI Economy Minister to see how to best help Northern Ireland. I have no doubt that the Treasury will now do this- our people need help with energy now.
