@Carpenter_Smut @jdrider02 I agree. The armor system was flawed and much too simple. Imo there exists a perfect medium between the 2. The ccbs skeletal system and joints were superior, however the bionicle/technic armor and weapons were way more detailed and interesting. G2 had begun to bring some back

@jdrider02 But its clear another bionicle theme would not have much investment and would end up largely similar to bionicle G2. I actually think some of the later sets were very good and bringing back play functions were huge, but the story and ancillary media was so poor it just didn't hit

@jdrider02 This is the paradox of wanting bionicle back. I just don't think its possible without full investment like Lego gave it in early G1. I actually appreciated Hero Factory for what it was and the later sets and bionicle G2 sets finally made the ccbs system interesting
