Back in 2022, I asked @NDI to work on having a dedicated program to support Women in Politics who endure Technology Facilitated Gender Based Violence #TFGBV. Fast Forward, two years later, on 26/9/2024 the world’s first of its kind, Rapid Online Support and Assistance Mechanism #ROSA for women in politics who experience #TFGBV was launched in #NewYork and #Dakar. 🔗 ndi.org/our-stories/ra… As I recorded @moira, Director @NDItech make the annoucement in #Dakar, I got a pleasant surprise of my leadership in this two year journey being recognised. This afternoon, our Director of Research, Bonnita Nyamwire, will be speaking on the "Rapid Response Assistance for TFGBV" panel at #FIFAfrica24, exploring a new mechanism developed by @NDI, @freedomhouse, and @PirthOrg to support women in politics facing tech-facilitated GBV.

#SWIFT will provide women in politics and public life with immediate and practical steps to prevent or mitigate online harm, as well as connect them with the financial resources they may need when facing #TFGBV. Let’s get to work @NDI, @FreedomHouse, @PirthOrg, @stateGWI!
