its a criticsm of valuing themes over good storytelling but my problem is why do yall act like the two are mutually exclusive
ever since csm ended ppl act like u can either have a story thats thematically good or narritevely good, cant havd both apparently

“themes and such” being like an insult is weird to me because… i feel like. delivering your themes and message properly in a story is more important than like. having a perfectly consistent world forever. a story is meant to make you feel something, not just be wiki fodder
