So many fouls, but Holland got hosed on that Luka call.

@PistonsNThem @d0msanity The flip side is that the Bulls may not even offer it. Knowing them they'll give him 5 years $100 million with a player option at the end 🤣

@PistonsNThem @d0msanity I think his QO is 14. If he's smart and believes in himself, he'll take that to rebuild value and go for a longer term deal later in unrestricted free agency. Tough for the Pistons to wait that out again. It was time to move on. He's definitely getting more than the min.

@PistonsNThem @d0msanity I know, right? I have no idea why he would do that considering he could take the QO for WAY more and be an UFA with trade veto rights.

@JonPeteSchwartz I'm also not sure about the athleticism, as he's now had multiple surgeries on his legs. Never good, especially when he's a fairly low skilled player who relies quite a lot on his athleticism. I hope I'm wrong, I'm cheering for him.

@JonPeteSchwartz They moved up in the draft and avoided all of the financial headache I just mentioned. If I'm honest, I was never a fan of Ivey's game and was happy to see the back of him before Detroit did something stupid. I wish him well, but glad he's someone else's problem

@RJK_DET84 I thought they rushed him back but they had to see him play some before the trade deadline so I get it. But he was never right

Point is i feel like the organization got too much of a pass for how this "rehabilitation" played out. Maybe im dead wrong.

@JonPeteSchwartz Eh, there is no way I wanted to enter next season with the Ivey question again. Pistons would have had to make the QO to even make him an RFA, which he would have taken, meaning they lose all leverage, he's an UFA agent after the season and can veto trades. No thanks.

@PistonPowered That trade was inexcusable. There was not reason not to hold onto him. The cap hold concern was never an issue. They could always renounce the rights.
