@ProspectsUsmnt Do not have DCU U-15 on a Mid-Atlantic, non-academy HG team's U-16 fall schedule, although it is not clear to me if Virginia is it's own conference now or not (also no SYC and Alexandria games). Press release about restructuring in July said they would field U-15.

The language here of “an option to extend the pro pathway” tells me that there’s probably one or two academies that aren’t going to be participating. Last I heard, pretty much everyone was on board, but there were three academies that didn’t even have U-15 teams last year (RSL, Portland, and Seattle), so I’d start there for clubs that may not be extending it. AFAIK, Seattle and Portland are, and RSL isn’t, but I could have that wrong. I believe all of the rest are extending it, but have not gotten that confirmed yet.

Davis (‘10) is a prolific goal scoring forward that trucks players with pace and power. You wonder if it’ll work as he moves up levels, but it probably shouldn’t work against U-15’s to begin with and they can’t handle him.

DCU officially announce the changes hinted at this spring. This structure is very in line with most MLS teams so the club isn't being cheap here. As always, this will die or thrive based on Levien's commitment to funding a long term plan.

Some academy plans outlined here. Ultimately, they need to have an MLSNP team in 2026 and that’s step 1-100. Without that, it’s hard to take their academy initiatives seriously.

I'm serious when I say the only difference between NSH and DCU is Hany. Both are stocked with "helper" type players but NSH has someone who can create and finish chances while DC have no one with any semblance of creativity or end product.
