Getting details on the @SW_Columbia tentative agreement: includes a 30 percent raise for some workers, plus full recognition of the unit, which was something Columbia had been resisting pretty firmly.

For tuition this year, in-state undergraduate and all graduate students will see a 2.5 percent increase; out-of-state undergrads will pay 4.5 percent more. This isn't going to faculty, who got a miniscule raise and hiked insurance premiums.

Pretty excited that we got our official certification this week!

We have received our official certification as a union from the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board. This makes it official! 🎉

FYI there's now a vaccine mandate at our workplace, starting December 6. Thanks are owed to many faculty and supporters who have pushed for this throughout the year.

Did you know: Pitt's endowment assets exploded from 2020 to 2021, with just the increase--as reported in the FY21 Financial Report-- almost a billion and a half dollars. That's a big chunk of change! 2020 2021
