Hosting the 2026 NFL Draft was an event close to two years in the making. Public Safety could not be prouder of the results of thousands of hours of meticulous planning, coordination, and work by all our personnel. Despite a record 805,000 visitors, no major incidents occurred.

Welcome to Pittsburgh! #FBI Pittsburgh and our local, state, and federal partners are working hard to ensure your 2026 NFL Draft experience is a safe and enjoyable one. FBI Special Agents, Intelligence Analysts, Surveillance Specialists and Professional Staff will be standing shoulder to shoulder with these partners to share intelligence and mitigate threats. Our mission will be carried out in command posts, on the streets, in the skies and on our rivers. A Temporary Flight Restriction will be in place for 2 nautical miles from draft-related events with severe criminal and civil penalties if you’re found operating a drone. And as always, if you see something suspicious, report it to law enforcement by calling 911, or to the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI.

Reminder to have your emergency alerts turned ON and have “always play sound” enabled. This means severe weather warnings and other life-threatening alerts will sound, even if your phone is on vibrant.

If you come across a traffic signal without power, treat it as a four way stop sign. Drive slowly, be mindful of debris, & use caution as crews respond to tonight’s wind storm.
City of Pittsburgh@Pittsburgh

Dangerous winds have made their way across Pittsburgh & the region. NEVER touch a downed power line. Call 911 for any fallen trees or power lines blocking roadways. City Crews are all out & will be working through the night responding to calls.
