If a girl is already paying her bills and living comfortably on her own, what exactly does she need a man for? 🤔

Being strict is gold! I hacked it 4 years ago Let's say I have an exam to prepare for and I need 4 hours a day to read, this is what I do I drop my phone off for that 4 hours and nothing. absolutely nothing can make me pick my phone up that time. In that 4 hours even if Elon Musk calls I won't pick. All calls are ignored, all texts are ignored. People get offended, but it don't matter to me because I have studied and passed my exams. I apply this to every other thing I want badly. I lock in, block ALL the noise and focus. It offends people who try to reach out to me, but I don't care. Its my life

Men are always quick to say "You'll go back to your father's house" to women who weren't even living in father's house before marriage. Did you meet her there? Why do you think that's where she'd go back to? That fear tactic is stale already. Find something else to say. 😂😂

If you’re moving from Nigeria 🇳🇬 to the UK 🇬🇧 and you’re unsure which city to choose, here’s a quick shortcut to save you hours of research. 🇬🇧 London = 🇳🇬 Lagos. Same pressure, same movement, same feeling that everybody is chasing something bigger. 🇬🇧 Milton Keynes = 🇳🇬 Abuja. Clean, planned, structured, and somehow still making roundabouts a lifestyle. 🇬🇧 Edinburgh = 🇳🇬 Port Harcourt. Oil city energy, straight-faced people, and zero interest in pretending life is cheap. 🇬🇧 Birmingham = 🇳🇬 Kano. Young city, serious hustle, and enough commercial weight to matter without needing London’s validation. 🇬🇧 Leicester = 🇳🇬 Benin City. Community everywhere, cultures mixing easily, and enough Naija presence to make the move feel softer. 🇬🇧 Manchester = 🇳🇬 Ibadan. Proud identity, deep culture, and a city that does not need to shout before you notice its influence. 🇬🇧 Leeds = 🇳🇬 Kaduna. Quietly important. Practical people. No unnecessary noise, just real life and real work. 🇬🇧 Bristol = 🇳🇬 Enugu. Clean energy. Creative crowd. A softer pace, but still enough ambition to keep things moving. 🇬🇧 Bradford = 🇳🇬 Ilorin. Affordable, underrated, and built more on real community than on hype. Which one did I get right and which one did I miss?

Living alone is such a beautiful experience I hope most people get to experience especially in their 20s. The beauty of not having to negotiate your space with anyone else, finding stuff exactly how you left them, discovering your style, girl dinner etc. Absolutely peak 🤌🏼

There’s something I’ve noticed in this Nigeria we’re all in. The average Nigerian man has bad breath. The ones that have no mouth odour are actually the minority. It’s very weird and annoying.

I love to travel alone, see a movie alone, eat at restaurants alone, visit museums alone, get a cocktail at the bar alone, go to concerts and shows alone, walk through the park alone. Once you love your own company, you’re free to do anything

@MarinatedTurks I pity people who marry men way older than them ooo. Thr best age gap is and forever will be 2-5 years. Highest should be 7 years. It’s best to marry someone within your age group. Not just for the sex, for the understanding and communication.

“future husband” is one of the saddest phrases ever invented. you’re a free woman and you’ve already consigned yourself as the property of some hypothetical man you’ve never even met

all i will say is that with the way nigerian women are groomed to center their lives around marriage, be very wary of a twice divorced nigerian man. as per not one but two nigerian women experienced him and said nope? it's better for you to marry lucifer tbh

You want to cheat on your partner but you hate the idea of your partner cheating back on you?, so you can’t take what you give out ?. TolaniBaj simply said “if a man cheat on me, I will cheat back on him” and people are convulsing over it, even the bible talked against adultery and it has it own consequences,if you don’t want your partner to cheat back just simply remain loyal or unmarried then do whatever you like.

I spent years denying myself a lot of things to become the woman I am today. I got my degree, learned a skill, and built a life where I can comfortably take care of myself. So no, I’m not ashamed to say it: I will not settle for a struggling or broke man. Not because I want his money. But because I’ve already done the hard work to break out of survival mode, and I have no desire to return there in the name of love. I don’t want to build a future with someone who is still figuring out the basics while I’m ready for stability. And I certainly don’t want to raise children in a home where every day is a financial emergency. Men are allowed to have standards. Women are allowed to have standards too. Love is beautiful, but for many of us, peace and stability are non-negotiable.

For the past several months, I have quietly carried the weight of intense emotional distress and private pressure that no one should ever have to endure. Since the end of my marriage, I have tried to move forward in peace…

Thank you o. I get anxious and scared when people mention praying for me to get pregnant. That’s a threat to my existence, please. Channel your prayers to other areas like business growth, finance, ehen, now we’re talking. Because who told you I’m looking for baby? lol. The thought of having to spend the rest of my life parenting anyone terrifies me. I don’t have energy please. Maybe later later, I might change my mind. But for now? Happily child free🙂‍↔️
Idongesit Uduehe(Chef_idy)@IdongesitUduehe

I know two people (Both genders) who don’t want children. These people would sit you down and explain what having a child requires and why proper parenting is important. Imagine a stranger wishing they had a child if they eventually grow old and pass away. The things you think society requires from you are not the desires of others. We all have what brings us fulfillment. Some of you are so tone deaf wishing someone had a child like did they come to you to tell you they were trying for one?
