Hey @PixelSnap_app. My monitor is 4K, and when I use the app to QA work, the measurement comes back incorrect. And I'm forced to use the low resolution option in my Mac settings. Is there a fix for this that doesn't resort to me dropping my resolution? Any help is appreciated

@JustinNoelDev @chantastic @CleanShot You can keep guides on the screen by entering the Background Mode - just press the same shortcut used to invoke PixelSnap. 😉

@chantastic @CleanShot Former Xscope user as well. One thing I’d love for @PixelSnap_app to support is permanently keeping vertical and horizontal guides on the screen at all times. Right now they are just temporary.

@albertkinng For now, there are no plans to add such feature. But thank you for the suggestion! You can change your export location in CleanShot preferences to e.g. Dropbox folder, and then when you press "Save", the screenshot will be saved to Dropbox.

@PixelSnap_app any plans to add cloud options or you are going to make me use Keyboard Maestro to send my pics to iCloud or Dropbox instead?

@dodgeandburn Unfortunately not. But you can move the cursor on a plain background, to avoid snapping to any object.

@PixelSnap_app @PixelSnap_app For example, I’d like to measure/snap this pink background area in Google Slides by dragging out the red box. Maybe a key you could hit to toggle whether you’re snapping “in” or “out” like the way you can toggle to the alternative colour with ⌥?

@PixelSnap_app Something I wish I could do is to snap to the *inner* edge of a box by dragging inside of it. Often a rectangle will have a fuzzy drop-shadow around it, so measuring/snapping it from the inside out would be easier! Am I making sense?

@PixelSnap_app Hey there 👋 Just a quick question… I use Pixelsnap (version 1) and I noticed that it got very slow and measuring doesn’t seem to work anymore. Are there any known issues? Screen recording permission is granted. I use a M1 MacBook, might that be an issue?
