@Xeer @SingaporeAir SQ is the most mediocre airline compared to Qatar/Etihad/JAL. I don’t get the hype. Also they have never given back to the hardworking Singaporeans that supported them even through covid with that stupid dinner.

As a Singaporean 🇸🇬 I’m always the most proud of my national carrier @SingaporeAir.
Sadly this wasn’t one of those times. I take a LOT of flights every year and a large number of those are on SQ.
Dirty seats. Chocolate wrapper stuck in the seat table and another in the chair seam. Poor service recovery. On an 18 hour flight from New York to Singapore. Even on the lowest of low cost carriers I’ve not experienced this.
Followed up with customer service after the flight. Their offer? 7500 miles ($100) and NDA so I never speak about this again. Told them to shove it.
Loyalty should go both ways. I hope SQ reclaims best airline in the world one day the way Lee Kuan Yew envisioned but this is not it.

@watch_emperor Just got my panda at retail easy 2x

Most people who can afford a luxury watch still never buy one.
They can’t justify it.
Spending $10k on a vacation or random upgrades for their car is totally normal.
But $10k on a watch and suddenly they start asking themselves if it’s “worth it.”
The funny thing is, for those who do buy watches, it’s often more about the milestones than the watch itself.
• Your first $100k sitting in the bank from a business you built.
• That first multi-million-dollar exit.
• The wedding day.
That’s why people remember their first serious watch.
It has nothing to do with the movement or the brand, and everything to do with what was happening in their life when they bought it.
So a lot of people will wait years before buying their first one.
It’s never a money issue. They just don’t feel like they haven’t “earned it” yet.
There’s a big psychological barrier to dropping $10k–$20k all at once.
But when I went to sell my own watches, I think I found a solution.
I owned around $80k worth of watches and was looking to liquidate and not lose money in the process. That’s when I discovered an entire underground Reddit community running watch raffles.
100+ people buy in with maybe a few hundred bucks.
One person wins the watch.
At first it sounded a little degenerate. But the more I looked at it, the more it made sense.
Collectors could liquidate watches quickly.
And people who couldn’t afford a luxury watch (or anyone that could, but didn’t want to pay full price) suddenly had a shot at owning something they’d probably never buy outright.
The only problem was the whole thing was happening in random Reddit threads.
No infrastructure or real platform. The whole thing existed with spreadsheets, moderators, PayPal, and trust.
That’s when it clicked.
This needed to be a legitimate product.
That’s why we built Watch.fun.
It’s a platform where people can get luxury watches through drops instead of retail. But instead of strangers on a Reddit board, we're an actual business with licenses.
And everything is on-chain, so it’s verifiable by anyone.
To kick things off, we’re giving away an $18,000 Rolex “Starbucks” Submariner.
Completely free to enter.
Check us out at @watchdotfun and enter for the chance to win at watch.fun

Crypto is literally the worst investment asset I own. Literal dogshit asset class, full of scams and zero return on equity despite claims of “bluechip assets. Staying out from the casino permanently.

In the coming weeks, we plan to start testing ads in ChatGPT free and Go tiers.
We’re sharing our principles early on how we’ll approach ads–guided by putting user trust and transparency first as we work to make AI accessible to everyone.
What matters most:
- Responses in ChatGPT will not be influenced by ads.
- Ads are always separate and clearly labeled.
- Your conversations are private from advertisers.
- Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise tiers will not have ads.

Start small and dream big.
My first watch was a CASIO G-Shock DW-5600.
But my grails are Vacheron Constantin Overseas Collection and Historique 222.
And my very first Casio was also the first chapter that made the rest possible:
A stepping stone to new connections, opportunities, friendships, and unforgettable places I’ve visited… And it all started with one watch.
