Giants tight end Theo Johnson was at the Knicks game at MSG last night. He was ruled out of Sunday's game earlier in the day by the team due to illness. Social media conspiracy theories revolving around tanking spread fast. On the surface, the optics did not mesh. Then Johnson posted on his IG stories last night: "I am not sick." So what's the deal? Well, this morning the Giants say Johnson has an infection, thus the illness designation. It's not the flu or COVID, team says, so not contagious to others. Johnson is still declared out for Sunday.
